How to get to Isla Holbox?
Location: Holbox Island is located 165 km northeast of Cancun, just 10 km from the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, just where the Gulf of Mexico joins the Caribbean Sea
To get to Holbox there are several roads depending on where you come from, you can arrive by sea, air, by bus or in your own car, by boat, by boat, by plane and by helicopter. The starting point for the island is Chiquilá.

From Mérida you have to take the road to Valladolid and from there the free road to Cancun until kilometer 80, you will find a community named Ignacio Zaragoza, further ahead is the deviation to the left towards Chiquilá. Another route is to take the road to Motul to Tizimín, arriving at Tizimín you should take the free road to Cancun until you reach Kantunilkin and where you will find the diversion that goes to Chiquilá.
